Raul S. Gonzalez

Dr. Gonzalez is Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and Director of the Gastrointestinal Pathology Service at Emory University Hospital. He has authored more than 130 peer-reviewed publications and numerous topics on Pathology Outlines, where he served as Editor in Chief. He is the Chair of the CAP Surgical Pathology Committee, Vice President of the Rodger C. Haggitt Gastrointestinal Pathology Society, and a Regional Editor for Histopathology. He has received residency teaching awards from Beth Israel Deaconess and Emory, and in 2023, he received the Gastrointestinal Pathology Society’s Jack Yardley Investigator Award.
