Angelo Paolo Dei Tos

Angelo Paolo Dei Tos is Full Professor of Pathology, and Dean of the University of Padua School of
Medicine. Chair of the Department of Integrated Diagnostics and of The Functional Department of
Oncology of the Azienda Ospedale-Università Padova, Italy. He is the founder of the Working Group
on Soft Tissue Tumour within the European Society of Pathology, past-President of the International
Society of Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology and of the Connective Tissue Oncologic Society (CTOS); co-
editor of the WHO Classification of Bone and Soft Tissue Tumors since 2000; faculty member of
European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), and member of the Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcoma
Group of EORTC. He has published more than 580 scientific papers (h-index Scopus 100; GS 116),
one monography and several book chapters on sarcoma and oncological pathology. He serves as a
member of the Editorial Board of several international scientific journals and is currently President of
the SIAPEC-IAP (Italian Society of Pathology).
