Gladell Paner

Dr. Gladell P. Paner is a Professor of Pathology and Surgery (Urology) and the Director
of Genitourinary (GU) Pathology Service at the University of Chicago. Dr. Paner has
contributed to several international GU pathology practice guidelines and consensus
recommendations, including spearheading or co-leading several recent ISUP and joint
GUPS-ISUP endeavors, the CAP GU Cancer Protocol and the ICCR Prostate Cancer
Datasets panels, and the ICUD-SIU Pathology of Localized Prostate Cancer. Dr. Paner
is on the editorial board for the upcoming 6 th WHO GU tumor classification and was a
contributor to the 4 th and 5 th WHO editions. Dr. Paner has published >170 papers and
has lectured in 30 countries across 6 continents. Dr. Paner was a recipient of the
prestigious Arthur Purdy Stout Award.
