Dr. Dibson Dibe Gondim is the Inaugural Vice Chair for Computational Pathology & AI and an Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY, USA, board-certified in Anatomic Pathology, Neuropathology, and Clinical Informatics. At the University of Louisville, he leads a complex clinical practice and has developed informatics platforms that enhance clinical care, education, and research. He also guided the institution to become one of the nation’s earliest adopters of fully digitized pathology workflows and clinical-grade AI. His innovations include a U.S. patent for an AI-based method for stain transformation and liver fibrosis quantification, as well as the 2019 United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology Surgical Pathology Award for AI-driven renal tumor classification.
