Carla Bartosh

Carla Bartosch is a pathologist at the Portuguese Oncology Institute of Porto and Centro Hospitalar Universitário de S. João, with a main focus on gynecological pathology. She currently serves as President of the Portuguese Society of Anatomical Pathology. She holds a PhD in Molecular Medicine and Oncology, with research dedicated to endometrial carcinoma. Her translational research in gynecological cancer has resulted in more than 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications. She is an adjunct professor of Pathology at the Abel Salazar Biomedical Sciences Institute, University of Porto, and actively supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as medical fellows.
