As the director of the Frozen Section Division at the OSU, I evaluated the work flow and made significant improvements which resulted in better communication with clinicians, improved turn-around time and more efficient streamline process in the frozen section suite. My experience with the Frozen Sections QA/QC allowed me to identify and address critical issues that resulted in decreased rate of diagnostic discrepancies.

My research efforts are focused on HPV-related head and neck malignancies and salivary gland neoplasms. I am primarily involved in translational and applied studies of head and neck tumors.
