I am a professor of pathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC), with more than 30 years of experience in breast diagnostic pathology and translational research. Currently, I am section chief of Breast Pathology. I am a nationally and internationally recognized academic breast pathologist who is strongly involved with clinical and translational research programs related to breast cancer at MDACC. I have published over 300 peer-reviewed manuscripts on breast pathology, especially on morphologic features of invasive and in situ carcinomas, high-risk lesion-related biomarkers of breast cancer progression, and prognostic and predictive marker evaluation in breast cancer. I have also published multiple book chapters on pathology of breast lesions.
