Dr. Laura Collins is the Chief of Breast Pathology, Vice Chair of Oncologic Pathology, and
Breast Cancer Research Lead at Weill Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New
York City. She graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, London and
completed her Pathology Training and at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Havard
Medical School. After which, Dr. Collins joined the faculty where she served as the Vice Chair of
Anatomic Pathology, BIDMC and Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Dr. Collins is an internationally renowned breast pathologist with numerous publications to her
name.
Her research interests are in breast cancer, particularly precursor lesions/early breast neoplasia.
In addition, Dr. Collins is a committed educator, giving numerous lectures and CME courses
around the US and world to support the ongoing education of pathologists in the diagnosis and
management of breast disease in an era of precision medicine.
